Welcome to my personal website. I'm an economist at the Environmental Protection Agency's National Center for Environmental Economics, where I assist in
economic and environmental justice analysis for a variety of rulemaking efforts related to the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Toxic
Substances Control Act.
My research generally focuses on the relationship between pollution exposure and human health. In the past, I've researched how school bus diesel particulate matter
exposure affects cognitive performance of students, the effects of coal combustion residual water pollution on Safe Drinking Water Act violations and fetal health, as
well as the role that PM 2.5 plays in mediating COVID-19 illness severity. These days, I'm especially interested in water policy, in particular how climate change and
severe weather events impact quality and cost of drinking water.
